Design and construction
We design our projects preferably in 3D. The advantages are that the generation of workshop and production drawings is facilitated and that parts lists can be generated automatically. Motion and movement sequences are easy to simulate, which provides further assurance that the final product will actually function as intended. Interfaces allow for importing 3D-models into FEM calculation programs. Drawing on our close co-operation with the production side, we have practical experience in developing designs suitable for production, which allows for cost-effective manufacturing.

Modification of a mega-yacht

Modification of two originally fixed jutting projections on the rear platform. After modification, the jutting projections can be tilted by 90°, allowing them to stand vertically upon the water surface.

Stairs were integrated into the projections. The steps adjust themselves to the tilt angle, so that the staircase is usable at any angle. The handrails are set on swiveling bearings, so that the distance between the handrails can be adjusted.

Furthermore, an extendable fender system for tenderboats with weights of up to approx. 10 tons was integrated into the rear platform. The entire unit was designed in 3D, which allowed for simulating complex motion sequences and geometries in the computer prior to production. The system was manufactured and installed by our parent company TECHNOMAR GmbH.

Production stand for the Ariane 5 rocket

The production stand shown here was developed for the production of the upper stage of the Ariane 5 rocket in Bremen. The production stand allows for moving the rocket stage upwards and downwards as well as tilting and swiveling the stage, which allows for easier access to all parts of the stage during the production process. Furthermore, the production stand allows for easily measuring the mass and center of gravity of the rocket stages.

Shelf operation and commissioning system

This shelf operation system was developed for the storage of long goods. The cassettes are automatically taken off the shelves. Further commissioning occurs on the shelf operation unit with the aid of a magnetic crane.

For work breaks, the shelf operation unit is equipped with a weighing system which can carry out an automatic inventory process without any operating personnel present.
